Big builds are planned months in advance.  Sometimes the first phases go back further than a year.  The developer begins with his design and architectural team to get the plans put together.  As the blueprints are created, an engineer must also sign off on them.

Contractors are invited to bid on their specialty of install.  Everyone from plumbers, to painters, to masons, submits a bid for their work.  The developer is the one who decides on the installers in the end.  Suppliers are brought in, sometimes bidding on the jobs as well, separate from the contractors.

As the team is built, so is the building.  Foundations are laid and frameworks are built.

SMC has been working with larger developers on exterior installs for many years.  Not only are we skilled with stone and brick installation, but metal and hardie siding as well.  Because we own our own Genie Lifts, we are an asset to any large job site.

Large projects take many months, but we always take the time for smaller, residential jobs in between.
